10. No Strings Attached $3.6 million
The Portman/Kutcher rom-com didn't have much staying power, but it was a modest hit overall, closing in on $70 million in ticket sales after five weeks of release. It should be out on DVD by early summer, which means wives and girlfriends will have something to counter all of the testosterone-filled action films guys will want to see.

9. The Eagle $4.3 million
Audiences have come to the same realization I did: Channing Tatum wouldn't last five minutes among real Roman soldiers from the second century. Let's just move on.

8. The Roommate $4.5 million
Crazy chicks from the WB didn't interest audiences much, as The Roommate dropped 45% in only its third week. Minka Kelly fans need not weep: she'll be appearing for free each week on the new Charlie's Angels TV show.

7. The King's Speech $8 million
The art-house indie has managed to crack the $100 million barrier at the box office, which makes us wonder how Hollywood will reward it. A Best Picture Oscar is unlikely, but both Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter make strong arguments to take home supporting actor wins.

6. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never $16.3 million
In perhaps the most shameless money-making ploy ever, Paramount is putting out a new version of this film this Friday with 40 minutes of "new" footage. Parents: JUST SAY NO!

5. Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son $18.7 million
Now we know how much Martin Lawrence's dignity is worth to him: $18.7 million. No wonder he's pushing for another Bad Boys movie.

4. Just Go With It $21.6 million
Last week's #1 movie hangs on for a respectable fourth place finish. That should make the actors happy, because even though Sandler seems perfectly at home here, you get the feeling Aniston and Kidman are slumming it just for a big paycheck.

3. I Am Number Four $22.8 million
BoxOfficeMojo.com called it perfectly: I Am Number Four is a sad ripoff of the old WB TV show Roswell. Having director D.J. Caruso, who directed Eagle Eye and Disturbia, and producer Michael Bay running the show didn't yield very favorable results. $22 million is a nice haul, but when a gnome cartoon that is already in theaters can outdraw it, that's not a good sign. It seems like all those well-publicized plans for a sequel were premature.

2. Gnomeo and Juliet $25.4 million
It's Shakespeare. It's gnomes. It's 3D. It's Hollywood gold. Don't ask me how, but it is.

1. Unknown $25.5 million
Critics were split on Unknown, which tried to go high-concept but ended up devolving into a standard action thriller. Audiences didn't seem to mind, as Liam Neeson made it all worthwhile. With so many sad excuses for action heroes cluttering up movie screens (yeah, we're looking at you, Channing Tatum), audiences are hungry for actors who can act and kick ass. Guys like Neeson are few and far between.
