Disney has taken a different approach (to say the least) for their movie, Tangled, as they constructed a spoof of an ever-popular video on YouTube.
I had first watched the Disney trailer and was laughing at the idea. Quite clever and cute honestly. I decided to further investigate what this company found so entertaining from this Double Rainbow video. With over 14 million views, I begin to question humanity as a whole as I sat through the entirety of the video (now what does that say about me? ha), but Disney took this comedic and asinine three-minute long video and turned it into a hilarious, intriguing spoof. Talk about cashing in!
The trailer draws in viewers with witty jabs of the eccentric rainbow man as we are led in to capturing sneak peeks of Rapunzel’s tower and her beautiful golden tresses. I definitely want to see this child-friendly film because who could pass that up after witnessing that kind of strategy?
