Kelly Osbourne, pop star-reality diva, lands a movie role in Should Have Been Romeo.
Posting on her Twitter page she proclaims, “it’s a comedy and I play the role of Nicole, who is a crazy groupie! It’s amazingly funny.” Osbourne has had previous roles in Life As We Know It, a 2004 project. In it she tackled the role of Deborah Tynan. Also, her vocals were borrowed in Live Freaky Die Freaky for the voice of Sharon.

Having it be her first major role, Osbourne continues, “We have been in rehearsals for a week and I start filming on Wednesday I could not be happier... ! I’m so excited my brain is not working!" As the excitement ensures for the young woman, she is not too keen on transforming her dark locks to a golden hue. As she tweets, “the burn is about to begin.” An understatement for those who have been subjected to the cruel and unusual punishment of bleaching the hair as the burn is more a fire!
Granted, I have not watched Osbourne’s role in Life As We Know It, I am not sure where to rank her skill levels for this upcoming movie. I am sure playing a groupie will not take too much for her to portray. A lot of screaming will suffice. A testament to the ability to act? Hardly. Who knows. Osbourne could shock us all. Watching her from her parent’s reality show to Dancing with the Stars, she has transformed from annoying to more civilized. She definitely surprised me when she could ballroom dance. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt on this one.
