Across the internet rumors continue to float as to who will play the coveted roles in the Fantastic Four film.
As Alice Eve’s (She’s Out of My League) plans to play in X-Men: First Class have faltered, it is rumored Fox is wanting to cast her as The Invisible Woman. Amber Heard (Pineapple Express) has also been thrown into the lottery for the same role. Prospects to play the fantastic (don’t you love it?) Reed Richards could be Adrien Brody or Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I am personally aiming and hoping for Meyers as he dominated in the television show The Tudors. It is without a doubt he has the finesse and the looks to be versatile in his roles. I do not discredit Adrien Brody as he, too, would bring hope back into the franchise.
A small tid bit, Fox might have dropped the working title of Fantastic Four Reborn to steer clear of implicating the idea it is a reboot. One that is clearly necessary and maybe with better actors it could save it from a horrible death.
We all know how rumors fluctuate to the left and to the right with severe degrees. One thing seems to be consistent (in the rumor mill), and it is Eve’s persistent mannerisms of landing herself in a Marvel movie. At some point she was on the shortlist to portray Peggy Carter, Captain America’s love interest. There even has been speculation she could play an evil villain in The Avengers. It looks like anything can go. If any truth holds true to what is rumored, then I might actually like to see this movie instead of dreading it.
