From New Line/Warner Bros. A Nightmare on Elm Street is about a group of teenagers who are being stalked by a disfigured serial killer, Mr. Freddy Krueger, who goes after them in their dreams. If they stay awake they are fine but as soon as they sleep they are screwed. Jackie Earle Haley stars as Freddy in the Samuel Bayer directed flick. Bayer has directed music videos by Offspring, Green Day, Metallica, and other big names, but only has never directed a feature film until now. A Nightmare on Elm Street also stars Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton. It hits the big screen April 30th.
