Me, I've almost always been about Final Cut pro. It's still my preferred system, but with my Mac having died from old age and not being able to replace it, I've switched over to Adobe Premiere CS5. It's actually pretty similar and I even made the switch in the middle of jobs without falling behind.
I've never been a fan of Avid. I've learned how to use it and I can in a pinch...but I hate it. The interface just doesn't jive with me.
