Posted a new discussion, Who's going to see TPM in 3D?I know a lot of fans are torn on this one, since so many didn't like Episode 1 (I personally don't get ALL of the hate for it), but being Star Wars fa ...

Mostly I created this because since StarWars.com shut down their damn forums, there aren't many other places for me to go. TFN is okay, but their forums have really gone downhill lately. I need to discuss things with my fellow fans.
This is the place to talk about all things Star Wars. Books, movies, comics, collecting, whatever us fans want to discuss, it's in here.
There are no announcements yet.
I probably won't, simply because I find it 1) the weakest of the Star Wars films and 2) I'm broke. I might consider it for A New Hope or Empire Strikes Back. or Attack of the Clones to see Natalie Portman in 3D :D....kidding. but I might go see IV and/or V. does anyone know when the other films will be released?
So I just finished the new Tim Zahn book (met him at Fan Days), Choices of One, and I really liked it. It's obviously set up for more to follow in the same time period, with the same characters...so I don't know why he won't just make an official series out of it. Instead we have to wait several years before we get another book from him.
Haven't picked up Riptide yet, but hopefully will this weekend, so I can finish it before Revan comes out next week!
Agreed, I really liked ROTS and thought it was probably the best Prequel movie and can stand among the OT. I didn't hate Phantom Menace, and it's grown on me a lot over the years, but I can't stand Attack of the Clones. It just isn't very good.
But to be fair, I can't hardly watch the first Star Wars (A New Hope) anymore either. I don't know if I've seen it too many times (hasn't affected my Empire Strikes Back love though) or what, but I just find it boring anymore.
