Robin Hood Super Bowl Clip Sneak Preview

Written by Jordan Maison

Yahoo Movies seems to have jumped the gun as they have just released the new Robin Hood TV Spot that's supposed to air on the Super Bowl Tomorrow.

It's not like I'm really complaining, I'll definitely take it.  I must admit that this smaller video has gotten me more excited for this film than what the longer teaser trailer managed to do.  The teaser made it seem like a slow snore-fest, but this video definitely ups the excitement.

On top of this the studios have released this new description blurb on the main Robin Hood Site:

Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interesting only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richard’s army against the French.  Upon Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a domestic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest.  Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life.  Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff.

Let's hope they can pull it off as well as they seem to think!
