Ong Bak 3 Trailer Coming To Knee Your Face Off

Written by Jordan Maison

If it seems like Ong Bak 2 just came out in theaters…it did.  It hit American shores this past October, but the fact is it’s been released overseas for a couple years now.

Needless to say if you’re a Martial Arts movie fan (or even a Martial Artist yourself), you’ve more than likely seen Tony Jaa.  Known for his high flying kicks and stunts all done without any wires or stuntmen, this actor has made a name for himself here in America over the past few years.

The trailer for his newest film, Ong Bak 3, has just hit the net and is prepared to take you to the extreme.  If the action in this trailer is any indication for what the film is going to be like, martial arts fans may very well explode with delight.  The story for this one takes up where the second left off, which now makes the original Ong Bak seem like an odd duck.

Rumor has it they are working on the 4th film which will in turn follow up from this one.  No firm release date on Ong Bak 3 yet, just a generic 2010 label attachment.  I wouldn’t be surprised to find this one cropping up in the Summer movie season however.

I just watched Ong Bak 2 a couple days ago. Its just as good as Ong Bak but it seemed like it didn't have anything to do with the first one. They could have called it anything else in my opinion. Maybe I'm not remembering something but everyone I watched it with agreed. So I was hoping you could explain that. but either way it's not a big deal because I certainly don't watch Ong Bak for the story. I watch it to watch Tony Jaa do crazy kicks and take downs with his legs (among other stuff). What a cool guy he is.
