When the second trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man launched earlier today, it set the internet a buzz for various reasons.  Now, it looks like a hidden message within that trailer has kicked off the viral marketing for the film. 

Following a pretty bumpy road, filled with delays and even the need for a replacement director, it looks like things are back on track for the X-Men Origins: Wolverine follow-up. Fox has finally given the film a release date.

After a big event that took place earlier today which showcased about 8 minutes of footage from the new Spider-Man film, Sony Pictures unleashed the newest trailer for the upcoming film for fans to enjoy.  Most importantly it also gives us our first real look at the Lizard!

Over the weekend, TMP had the chance to check out the latest film in the 'found footage' genre, Chronicle. The movie has been getting a lot of buzz lately, and we're here to tell you...it's deserving of it. This is the direction found footage films need to go.

With the Super Bowl spot for The Avengers comes a slew of new footage that has fans oogling and drooling over (myself included).  Yet nothing is quite as exciting as getting our first real look at the mysterious aliens that will be the villain's army in the film.  Thanks to the magic of HD video, we've got it highlighted for you in case you missed it.

 Let's face it...movie commercials during the Super Bowl are just a big tease.  They're only 30 seconds long and for fans who are eager for footage that's just not enough.  Fortunately, studios understand this and shortly after they air on TV, they release extended versions to sate your appetite...

Universal Pictures sent out a press release just a little bit ago announcing that filming for the Riddick film has officially started...even though it actually started a little while ago (and the set pics prove it).

For a film that's only a month and a half away, we've seen very little of it so far.  This is more confounding by the fact that it's such an anticipated title with a rabid fan base already installed.  Fortunately, those fans (and everyone else) can get a whole slew of new footage in the second trailer which has just dropped.

If you were to ask me a year ago about my excitement level for G.I. Joe Retaliation, the answer would have been zero.  Then we got the pretty awesome teaser trailer not too long ago, and I started to get pumped.  Now the full Super Bowl spot has been released and I'm becoming more and more encouraged...Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are about it.
