In honor of the upcoming release of the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, On Stranger Tides, TMP will be running down the previous three chapters in the mega blockbuster franchise.  So strap in your swords and prepare to set sail; we're going on a marathon, saavy?

Today, we'll tackle the film that started it all: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Summer 2011 is huge. I've said it once, and I will say it again. Because of the somewhat "overstuffed" nature of the season, it's rather natural for some films to be pushed out of the public eye. Not every wide release this year will make $200 million dollars. They could be huge movies, but they will eventually become the casualty of a crowded marketplace. It's sad, but true. So which films will rise up to the top of the mound and conquer the Summer Box Office? Here's our picks.

Late last night, Yahoo premiered the newest full length trailer for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, On Stranger Tides.  What do we have to say about it?  Find out after the break.

All this week, Disney has been dropping characters posters for Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, which showcase the four main characters of the film.  Rather than post them as they came, I figured it would be easier to do it all in one shot once we had the final one this week.  And wouldn't you know it, a couple new international Thor posters land as well.

Disney is still hard at work on pushing the marketing for their new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides movie.  While a somewhat lackluster banner was released last week, an all new poster has just landed but both of them share a very similar theme...it's all about Jack!

Shortly after the short 30-second spot aired during the Super Bowl for Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, Disney gave fans a treat by presenting an extended version of the commercial, with a full 30 extra seconds of footage.  By far, it's the best we've seen for this movie, and if you weren't already it will get you excited for this film.

Because you all want more of Captain Jack Sparrow, Disney has officially released the trailer for his fourth adventure, On Stranger Tides.  But does the trailer exceed expectations, or should it be dumped down to the depths of Davy Jones locker?

With the first teaser trailer for the new Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides set to debut to the world on December 13th, Disney is already starting to ramp up their marketing for the film.  As this was their flagship franchise for a while, expect the push for this film to be fairly large.  Where as in the past several months, the only thing we've gotten were blurry photos and one very uneventful teaser poster.  Well all of that has changed pretty quickly as several official pictures from the film have been released today.
