The 15 Best Revenge Movies (Part 2)

Published in Movie Stuff

TMP is back to wrap up the 15 best movie about revenge, courtesy of guest writer Arcee from NFamousGamers.  We've got more blood, guts, and hatred than we know what to do with on this list, so come in and see if your favorite revenge flicks made it on the list.

Yeah, Party Down fans can now have false hope for a movie just like everyone else!  Not one to be left out of a party, series creator Rob Thomas assures us that a Party Down movie is in the works!  Just like he's been saying about Veronica Mars for years now!  Of course it's going to happen!  THE EXCLAMATION POINTS MEAN I'M EXCITED! The caps lock means I'm doubly excited!

...

And the ellipse means I'm doubtful. :(

And the backwards smiley face means I'm sad.

Here at TMP I’ve had a couple articles dealing with books and movie adaptations.  Inevitably one of the comments I always get on these articles say something to the effect of “I didn’t even know that was based off a book!”  Sometimes those adaptations can sneak up on you and unless you really watch the credits you would never know.  So I’ve compiled a list of movies you most likely didn’t know were based off of books.

Filmmakers never keep their promises.  They promise big news and announcements, but never deliver on time.  Back in February, J.J Abrams said he would announce if he was returning for Star Trek 2 or not in March.  He announced it Monday.  Two weeks ago, David Slade claimed on Twitter that some Daredevil news would be revealed last week.  The news then broke last night.  Man, I need to buy these guys a calendar or something.

We here at TheMoviePool have been pretty adamant about our love of Blu Ray.  We've heralded it time and time again as the best system of watching movies at home.  However, it's a shame some of the best movies still haven't found their way to the format.  But now, we can mark another film off our list of Blu-Ray Editions Needed.  Because Jaws is coming to Blu-Ray and, better yet, it will be the version we all know and love!

If you haven't been paying attention the last few years, let me explain how huge a project Tintin seems to be. A joint production between Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, Tintin uses revolutionary motion capture technology. Apparently the character is huge outside the US, and fans everywhere have been curious of what Spielberg and Jackson have been doing. The film has a huge price tag and, if this one makes bank, Peter Jackson will be directing the sequel. A lot hinges on this film's success. But does the first footage show the next Avatar, or just another Robert Zemeckis abortion?

When I was a kid there was one word that had the power to transport me to another time when swords, barbarians and evil kings ruled the world, and a valor-loving Crom was the god of all. That one word was Conan. Now this hit classic from 1982 that made Arnold a megastar is being remade and Jason Momoa is set to become Conan the Barbarian for this new millennium.
