It’s been quite a day for the new Superman film. The film gained a director out of nowhere and surprised all of the internet in it's aftermath.  Not to shabby at all, Supes.

Deadline had the exclusive on what is sure to be one of the most controversial directing decisions of 2010.  Zack Snyder is in fact directing the new Superman under the tutelage of Godfather Nolan.  Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan working together on the same project?  Well...that’ll be interesting.  Moving on, Zack Snyder claims that he will begin work on the film once he finishes post for Sucker Punch.  Nice to see that he’ll still have robots with pink rabbit faces on the brain when he starts work on Superman.  That’s all the background you need, after all.

Christopher Nolan will direct 'Batman 3'

Thursday, 30 September 2010 02:04

To a lot of us, we are not surprised that Nolan is taking control of the next Batman (at least for now). It seemed to be the logical choice after the smashing accomplishment of The Dark Knight. It would a difficult task to successfully master another ingenious film. Measuring up and filling the shoes would be director suicide (for most).

Empire exclusively met up with Nolan to seek the answer we all have wanted confirmed for awhile. He shares, “It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way. I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so…If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it.” Nolan was not forthcoming with a precise answer, but he later broke the suspense by affirming he will director by saying, “I think you can at this point, yes.”
