If the headline seems vaguely familiar to you, don't worry, you're not going crazy.  Julia Ormond had already been hired to play the role of Lara Lor-Van (Superman's Kryptonian mother) some time ago and we had reported on that back then, but now Zurer is taking over the role in Man of Steel.

With Peter Jackson already a few weeks into the production of The Hobbit it's nice to get these little updates.  And today's casting news brings in actors for a couple of very pivotal roles in the movie.

The Hunger Games now has a lead in Jennifer Lawrence, who has been cast as central character Katniss Everdeen in the book adaptation.  But if you thought that would be the ending of The Hunger Games casting rumors, speculation, and anticipation, you'd be wrong.  There's two young males to be cast, and shortlist for both have been released.  We will examine both of them.

First, we'll start off with the most important male character in the cast; young Peeta Mallark, love interest to Katniss Everdeen.
