Recently, Appian Way released a deluge of photos from the Vancouver-based set of their upcoming fantasy-thriller, Red Riding Hood, starring Amanda Seyfried, Gary Oldman, Billy Burke, Shiloh Fernandez, Virgina Madsen and Julie Christie. With the film arriving in domestic theaters this Friday, it could be speculated that the production company wishes to capitalize on the film’s hot young stars by generating more interest for the film. Either way, the new offering by Twilight-director Catherine Hardwicke seems to be in good hands from a production standpoint. See below for a glimpse into the world she’s created.
What's truly surprising is the lack of photos of the werewolf itself from the film. That could be due to many reasons, such as plot integrity, but after the myriad groans that came on the heels of the CGI used in Joe Johnston's The Wolfman remake, it stands to reason that the wolf may look awful. But don't sweat it, all questions will be answered this weekend on March 11th.
