For the life of me, I can't figure out why it's taken so long to get an official poster for this movie.  With the release date only a few months away you'd assume it would have been out sooner in order to get the promotions going for it.  Now that I've seen the poster, I really can't figure out what took so long.

See what I mean?  I both love and hate this poster.  I love it, because it gives off that 90s horror movie vibe, and ties it very closely to the film's roots with the previous entries.  It really let's people know that Scream is back and ready to dominate again.  But I hate it because it looks like something that took all of 5 minutes to do in photoshop.  Seriously, the other fan made posters we've seen for this have been more interesting, and what they've done here is nothing original.  They've basically applied the same design from the third film's poster.

So I'm torn.  Part of me really enjoys this old-school looking poster, but another part of me wants something fresh and dynamic.  Hopefully the movie doesn't give me the same feeling.  Be sure to let us know what you think of the poster.
