The Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law starring Sherlock Holmes sequel is finally filming in London and the first set pics from the film have hit the Internet. Granted, they are your typical set photos (except that these are surprisingly clear and not blurry) and unfortunately don't serve to show us a whole lot of information. These pictures were picked up by JustJared and mostly just show Downey Jr. and Jude Law interacting with one another on a carriage as well as a quick meeting with the director, Guy Ritchie. While nothing terribly exciting is going on, there are some things for fans to enjoy.
Mostly, it's really good to see these two back together for this film. If there was one thing that absolutely blew me away in the first film, it was Holmes and Watson's chemistry. They were a perfect match for each other and made all of the encounters feel genuine and fun. So I'm really looking forward to how they continue to expand the relationship and hope they don't push it too far. Either way here are the pics for you to ooh and awe over.
Like I said, it just really great to see them back together. Let's see if they can pull off the same magic December 16, 2011.
