Brian Rogers shares what’s in store for 2012’s ‘Godzilla’

Godzilla

Zennie62.com nabs precious video time with producer Brian Rogers for the upcoming project Godzilla.

At the 3D Summit, Rogers talks about the major return of Godzilla to America. Behind the restoral of such an icon, Legendary Pictures will be bringing us a live action movie. Rogers dispels any myths or internet rumors that might have surfaced as well as giving us an idea of what to expect. He briefly touches on the fact of how they plan on avoiding the errors from the 1998 film. Rogers wants to make sure that this reboot remains true to the original roots of the creature. Anticipate dueling monsters, as Godzilla will not be the lone ranger in this movie!

I am slightly divided on this one. After hearing such negativity from the 1998 film, I have yet to see it so my conclusions are slightly undetermined. It has been over a decade, so a reboot would be nice to see. If they can remain true to their word by keeping the original in tact as much as possible, then I’m ready for 2012 to arrive!

Feel free and capture the six-minute (plus) interview to get a feel for yourself what you might be looking forward to in the future!
