The first official poster for the upcoming film Burlesque has been released.
I find it quite amusing how they chose to design the poster for this film. It mirrors the movie clip and trailer by presenting a boring appearance. It does keep with the glitz and flash it is trying to portray. The wording is quite clever and the division is intriguing considering two divas are going head to head in this film. Wonder how the filming went between the two? A legend creating a star. In a way, it is mildly humorous.
The poster reflects a cheap attempt to capture the essence of the movie Chicago. For such a large production, they could have attempted to design a poster that did not look kiddish. Then as soon as that’s said, I think back to the trailer. Who am I kidding? The only thing worth seeing in this movie might be the clothes used for the burlesque shows. Other than that count me out!
