I'm not huge on these Shakespeare remakes. For the most part they're okay, but on the whole I haven't seen one that's just phenomenal. I know many people would disagree with me, but the plays always seem to work best in their original form. That being said, I'm excited about Tempest.
The Tempest has seen some very awesome comic book adaptations, and a story dealing with magic, monsters and giant disastrous storms seems almost perfect for the big screen. Not much has really come out for this film in the way of pictures or promotions, but the poster has just been released to the public and it's a doozy.
It's just exciting looking, and gives me hope that this film will be done right and give us all a great adaptation. I'll let you gaze upon this awesome combination of elements and make up your own mind, but I know I'm starting to look forward to December 10, 2010.
