I'm one of those who really liked the Scream trilogy. They didn't rely on blood, guts, gore, or porn to get people into their seats. Instead they used a good story and strong characters to sell tickets. It's a gamble these days when it comes to horror films, but if anyone can pull it off again, it'll be Wes Craven.
Taking place 10 years after the events of Scream 3, Sidney and the other survivors have finally put their lives together. However the masked villain once again pops up to try and destroy their lives. While it sounds almost too familiar and nearly cliche, I'm willing to give this franchise the benefit of the doubt.
While the new image of Ghostface isn't exactly riveting, it's exciting for fans to once again see the villain in a non-parody situation. Hopefully we'll be getting even juicier pictures as the filming continues.
