Finally, after seeing absolutely nothing from this film, fans are at last treated to what they've all been waiting for.  Green Lantern's suit is fairly important in the comics so many were wondering what the filmmakers would do with it. Would they go with the comic book style, or something entirely new and different? 

The answer is here, and it's pretty different.  It's not bad, but it's very different.  Honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw it (outside of sweet!) was that it reminded me of the costume from Spawn.  Not sure why exactly, but it does.  As you know the costume will be created digitally and isn't an actual practical suit that Reynolds was wearing.  With a year to go before release, there's always the possibility of the design changing.

I wouldn't really count on it, but it's always possible.  I'm sure there will be even more and better shots at Comic-Con but until then, enjoy your first look at the Green Lantern.
