The move is fairly reminiscent of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows split, but let's face it both decision were based on how much more money they could milk out of the franchises. The difference? Harry Potter is actually good. Another announcement the made with the decision is a release date for Breaking Dawn Part 1, which will be hitting theaters November 18th 2011.

If the second installment follows the same pattern Part 2 should be hitting June 2012. While it's good news for the Twilight fans out there, many are wondering how they will still feature the last book's very adult themes while maintaining a PG-13 rating. Even Robert Pattinson has joked with a French magazine about it, saying:
"I would love it if Breaking Dawn became a totally hard core series for adults. I wonder how they'll bring that to the big screen...Can you imagine if they decided to go full out and Twilight suddenly became this totally hard core series for adults with nude scenes?"
While that might be the only thing to liven up the series, it's doubtful it will ever happen. Regardless all of the main cast are reprising their roles, so prepare your selves for two more outings of terrible writing, acting, and shirtless heart-throbs...you know, the things money is made of. But for those of you who can't wait, don't forget Eclipse hits theaters this month (June 30th).
