Telltale Games made a press release on Wednesday (June 9th) regarding two new game additions that sound like a lot of fun. As the result of a development deal with Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Telltale has acquired the creative rights to develop video games based on two of Universal Pictures’ most popular movie franchises: Back to the Future and Jurassic Park.
These are two of the most popular trilogies ever to hit the big screen. For those of you who may not have heard of Telltale, they are one of the present leaders in digital publishing and developers in “episodic interactive entertainment”.
There will be more information from the company at a later date, but gamers can expect the first video game based “season” of Back to the Future this winter and Jurassic Park will closely follow. Things seem to be getting more interesting on the Jurassic Park front, with a new line of toys, comic books, and now this, it seems only a matter of time until we finally get an official announcement on JP 4. Stay tuned!
