First Shrek Forever After footage is nothing terribly new

The first footage to come out for the highly anticipated Shrek Forever After shows how the franchise is getting back to the humorous side of things, but it's really nothing you haven't seen.

When I first noticed they'd come out with a new Shrek 4 clip I nearly had to change my pants.  I was so excited, because outside of the two trailers (which trod the same ground) no other footage had been shown.

Well, after watching the clip, I confess I'm a little disappointed.  It's the uncut clip of when Shrek meets up with the new fat Puss n' Boots.  It's a great scene and had me laughing, but for the most part it's the same thing seen in the trailers.  It's still worth a watch, especially if you haven't seen the trailers (shame on you!).

For those of you who did miss the Theatrical trailer (it did kind of slip in under the radar), I've got you covered.
