One of the biggest problems I've had so far in following the new Dragon Tattoo movie is the lack of any details on the plot.  I mean, I'm guessing the studios are assuming that most of the people interested in this film have already read the books and only need teaser images to hook the fans.  But for people like me who haven't read the series, I've been struggling to try and figure out what the Hell it's all about.

Fortunately this extra long trailer finally explains it all to me, and I at least know now what the basic set-up is.  I'm sure there will be quite a few surprises, but at least I'm not flying entirely blind anymore.

I have to say this trailer looks amazing, and has made a believer out of me.  Where I was only mildly interested before (mostly because of everyone else's obsession with it), I'm now totally engaged and anxious to see the film.  Let's just hope the whole film can pull off the overall feel that this trailer is giving off when it releases December 21st.
