Sometimes, deleted scenes are deleted for a reason. Actually, ALL TIMES, deleted scenes are deleted for a reason. That's why, you know, they're DELETED. Maybe it ran to long. Maybe it through off the groove of the film. Or maybe it just made no sense at all. In the case of this scene, it's the later.
The only thing changed in this scene is a five second shot of Michael Fassbender, but boy does it make a difference. In that time span, Magneto sports fish nets and go go boots as McAvoy tells him he's never looked more beautiful. Yeah, you kind of need to see it to believe it. Well I'm sure it would have worked in a laughing theater, I'm glad Vaughn cut it out. Just a little...TOO bizarre.
