Men in Black III has been facing production issues as it started to shoot before the script was fully written. They were then forced to stop filming until just now. They allowed The Daily Mail to sneak in a few photos of Will Smith (our leading man) as Agent J, and Josh Brolin. Fans of Jones should not fret because our old hero still is written into the script, but apart from that, some of the film’s plot transports the two back to 1969. It could lend to some creative developments in the time travel element as they filmed in the Bronx, New York.
Smith has drunk from the fountain of youth from these photos (if Photoshop wasn’t involved). It doesn’t look like the 40s will be a bad decade for him. Quite impressive once compared to stills from the first two installments of the Men in Black franchise.
The pictures do not give us many hints into what is in store for the upcoming movie. We do see a vintage vehicle in one of the shots, but the classic Men in Black attire is all we are given. Penny for your thoughts Smith and Brolin. What exactly could be going through their minds as the press snapped their photos?
I loved the original film; the second movie was just an extra laugh but nothing I’d walk away owning. Now, we are given a third. Be it as it may, I won’t deny I’ll rent it at Redbox when I need a few good ‘Will Smith’ laughs.
