A shamed former bodybuilder turned actor turned politician turned actor again, a former B-list movie star, and a fading black comedian walk into a movie studio.  They beg for a new project.  Universal says "aight."

It's been a while since we've heard any updates on the sequel to the fan favored monster movie Cloverfield.  While many people's dreams were quashed by J.J. Abrams when he said Super 8 wasn't at all related to that story, hope has still be kicking around.  Now Cloverfield director, Matt Reeves, has stoked the fires a bit, by promising that a sequel will still happen.

Talk of rebooting or remaking a franchise of movies is always a touchy subject.  Thing is, most movies facing this ordeal are so beloved it is automatically assumed they cannot be touched.

The fourth film in the stupidly successful Twilight series now has an official release date, and it's coming way sooner than you think.
