Recently, as I was commuting from my day job to home, a commercial aired over my favorite radio station that brought back memories of my younger, more idealistic days in the industry. I was a young and naïve performer filled with more hope than knowledge and I, as many before and I’m certain many after me will be, was taken in by one of the oldest talent scams in the business.
